93-Year-Old Man Dies in Northern Ireland Road Incident

A 93-year-old man passed away after being involved in a road traffic incident in Northern Ireland over the weekend. Law enforcement officials responded to the crash on Newry Road in Rathfriland, County Down, involving a silver Toyota Avensis and a pedestrian around 10.45pm. Despite the efforts of emergency services, the pedestrian, identified as 93-year-old Patrick Joseph Brady from Barnmeen, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The police confirmed that the driver of the Toyota did not suffer serious injuries. Following the incident, the Newry Road was temporarily closed but has since been reopened.
