Loren Schauers, while driving on a bridge, veered off the road and plummeted 50 feet, becoming trapped under a heavy truck. Despite the ordeal, he managed to stay conscious throughout the harrowing experience.
Following the accident in September 2019, Loren underwent extensive surgery resulting in the loss of three limbs. Enduring a challenging hemicorperectomy procedure, a rarity with fewer than 100 cases worldwide, he not only survived but persisted in living life to the fullest.
Hailing from Montana, Loren recently disclosed the aspects of his life he misses most post the life-altering injuries. Six years ago, after the truck crushed his lower body, necessitating the amputation of everything below his waist, Loren did not allow the accident to deter his spirit.

He aims to create content on YouTube, showcasing handicap accessibility in Montana and potentially streaming on platforms like Twitch. His current focus is on acquiring suitable prosthetics and technology to enhance his day-to-day independence.
