Bargain expert Jordon Cox has shared a clever tip on how to uncover an expiration date code for deals at Tesco. Known as the “Coupon King” on ITV’s This Morning, Jordon regularly offers money-saving advice on social platforms.
In a recent video, Jordon demonstrated that products under Clubcard Price promotion feature a unique six-digit number indicating the deal’s end date. By decoding this number in reverse, in sets of two digits, you can determine the expiration date: the last two digits represent the day, the middle two the month, and the first two the year.
This advice coincides with Tesco’s reminder for customers to utilize £16.5 million worth of expiring Clubcard vouchers by November 30. These vouchers, earned through purchases at Tesco stores, online, or at Tesco petrol stations, can also be accumulated through Tesco Mobile, Tesco credit card spending, and using a Tesco Clubcard Pay+ debit card.
To redeem a Clubcard voucher worth £1.50, customers must amass a minimum of 150 points. Currently, more than 24 million households in the UK possess a Tesco Clubcard.
Shama Wilson, Tesco’s Group Membership and Loyalty Director, emphasized the importance of utilizing Clubcard vouchers, highlighting the substantial rewards that could be gained, including cinema tickets and food rewards. Checking the Tesco app for expiring vouchers is recommended to make the most of these benefits.
