Darts prodigy Luke Littler has expressed his confidence in the ability of Angry Ginge, a participant on the reality show “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Here,” to thrive in the jungle. The 18-year-old, a close associate of the online personality Morgan Burtwistle, playfully hinted at a potential adventure in Australia in the future.
Amidst the buzz surrounding Angry Ginge’s arrival at Brisbane airport this week ahead of the show’s premiere on November 16, the Manchester United supporter and streamer is already the frontrunner according to bookmakers to claim victory in the competition.
Meanwhile, Littler advanced to the knockout phase of the Grand Slam of Darts in Wolverhampton with a convincing 5-1 victory over Daryl Gurney as he continues to defend his title.
In an interview with SportsBoom, Littler shared his belief that his long-time acquaintance, the 23-year-old Angry Ginge, will excel under challenging conditions in the show. He stated, “I think he’s going to do very well. I’ve known for a very long time. We’ll have to vote him on and see what he has to eat.”
Although Littler could be a strong contender for future seasons of the television program, securing his participation may require substantial financial investment from TV executives. When asked about the possibility of joining the jungle, he responded, “Erm maybe… If they come around for the right price. I might go over for a couple weeks.”
After being warmly welcomed by fans and media upon his arrival in Australia on Monday, Angry Ginge expressed his fondness for Manchester United and his mother but humorously mentioned his camping skills and concerns about Australian wildlife.
In a YouTube video announcing his participation in the reality show, Angry Ginge expressed his hopes for Manchester United’s success during his absence, aiming for the team to be in a strong position upon his return in early December. He said, “Hello there. If you are seeing this, I have officially been announced that I am going in the jungle. That’s what I’m praying for. I’m hoping I come out, Man Utd are second in the league and going for the title… Arsenal are dropping points.”
