Trump Warns of World War Three Risk Under Different Leadership

Published:

Former President Donald Trump claimed that the Russian invasion of Ukraine could have escalated into World War Three if he had not been in office. Trump asserted that the conflict would not have occurred under his leadership and suggested it would have been worse if he had lost the election to Kamala Harris.

In an interview with Politico, Trump criticized Europe’s handling of the crisis, stating that the war was unnecessary and could have spiraled into a global conflict. He emphasized that his presidency prevented such a scenario and expressed disappointment in the current situation, describing it as a significant issue for Europe.

Trump also made false claims about the amount of aid provided to Ukraine by the Biden administration, overstating the figure. Additionally, he boasted about his ability to negotiate peace deals, citing the challenges posed by the intense animosity between Putin and Zelenskyy.

Furthermore, Trump took the opportunity to criticize Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, and suggested that European countries may soon face viability challenges. He expressed his fondness for cities like Paris and London but criticized the leadership of Mayor Khan, attributing negative changes in the cities to his governance.
