ICE Agents Accused of Neglect in Minneapolis Shooting

Published:

A physician recently shared a chilling account of his attempt to aid Alex Pretti following a shooting incident involving an ICE agent. Pretti tragically lost his life in Minneapolis during protests against ICE actions and immigration policies under the Trump administration.

According to the doctor, instead of providing immediate medical assistance, federal agents were seen tallying Pretti’s gunshot wounds. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) maintains that ICE agents fired in self-defense, citing Pretti’s alleged possession of a handgun at the time.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara mentioned that Pretti, an ICU nurse, was a lawful gun owner with a carry permit. However, there is no evidence suggesting he intended to harm officers during the protest.

An eyewitness, identified as a physician, stated in a court document that they did not witness Pretti display a weapon or attack agents. The witness contradicted DHS claims, recounting how ICE agents pushed Pretti to the ground and subsequently shot him multiple times.

Despite attempts to treat Pretti’s injuries, the agents appeared more focused on counting his bullet wounds than administering proper medical aid. Witnesses recall Pretti as a compassionate individual who valiantly tried to shield others before being fatally shot by an ICE agent.

Following the incident, onlookers heard a total of 10 gunshots and observed ICE agents stepping away from Pretti’s lifeless body without attempting resuscitation. The tragic event unfolded in broad daylight, leaving the community in shock and disbelief.
