Apple has unveiled its latest iPhone 17e model, featuring significant enhancements at an affordable price point. Priced at £599, the device boasts a speedy A19 processor, MagSafe charging compatibility, sturdy construction, and an impressive single-lens camera. This price tag positions it £200 lower than Apple’s flagship iPhone model.
While the iPhone 17e stands out, Samsung has introduced its new A57 and A37 models, starting at a more budget-friendly price of £399. Although these Samsung devices may not match the performance or charging capabilities of the iPhone 17e, they offer a 6.7-inch display with 120Hz technology, surpassing the 17e’s 60Hz screen for smoother navigation and gaming experiences.
The Galaxy phones come equipped with notable features such as large 5,000mAh batteries, triple lens cameras, and durable designs with P68 water and dust resistance ratings. Samsung has integrated various smart features into the A37 and A57 models, including Google’s Circle to Search for quick web searches and advanced photo editing tools like Object Eraser and Edit Suggestions for effortless image enhancement and sharing.
Enhancing user convenience, Samsung has introduced improved Voice Transcription within the Voice Recorder app, enabling quick transcription and translation of call recordings, making it easier to revisit important details from conversations or meetings. Samsung also pledges extended support for the Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G models, guaranteeing up to six generations of Android OS and One UI updates, along with six years of security patches.
Both Galaxy A57 5G and A37 5G models will be available for purchase on Samsung.com starting from April 10th. The Galaxy A57 5G will retail at £529 for the 256GB variant, while the Galaxy A37 5G will start at £399 for the 128GB model. Color options for the Galaxy A57 5G include Awesome Navy, Awesome Grey, Awesome Icyblue, and Awesome Lilac, while the Galaxy A37 5G will be offered in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Charcoal, Awesome Greygreen, and Awesome White.
