Donald Trump’s health has come under scrutiny once again following observations of changes in bruising on his hands. The US President has acknowledged the presence of bruising on his right hand, which he often conceals with bandages and makeup. The White House attributed the bruising to “frequent handshaking and aspirin use.”
Recent images from the World Economic Forum in Davos, where Trump was in attendance, show bruising now visible on his left hand as well. Given that Trump predominantly shakes hands with his right hand, it raises questions about the source of the bruising on his left hand.
In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Trump disclosed that he exceeds the recommended aspirin dosage advised by his doctors. Despite this, he has continued with the higher dosage due to a 25-year habit and some superstition beliefs.
According to Trump’s physician, he takes 325 milligrams of aspirin daily, which is significantly higher than the standard dosage for someone of his age. Trump explained his rationale for this, citing the benefits of aspirin in thinning the blood to promote heart health.
The White House explained that the new bruise on Trump’s hand occurred when he accidentally hit it on a table corner during an event in Davos. Additionally, a White House spokesperson linked the bruising to Trump’s extensive handshaking activities and his daily aspirin regimen.
Trump has repeatedly emphasized his success in cognitive tests, claiming to have excelled in them. He vehemently defended his mental acuity in response to reports suggesting otherwise, labeling such claims as false and potentially seditious or treasonous.
Despite his assertions, prior reports have debunked some of Trump’s statements about the content of cognitive tests he allegedly aced. The Mirror reviewed various versions of the cognitive test he mentioned, finding no mention of a giraffe as described by Trump.
