“Wetherspoon’s January Sale: Pints from 99p, Food Deals”

Wetherspoon is kicking off its January Sale today across 600 of its pubs, offering a pint of beer for as low as 99p. The discounted drinks lineup includes Worthington’s beer at 99p per pint, Coldwater Creek wine for £2.99 per 250ml glass, Johnnie Walker Black Label (25ml with a mixer) at £1.99, and Tanqueray gin (25ml with a mixer) also at £1.99.

The sale also features a variety of low-alcohol and alcohol-free drinks such as Guinness 0.0, Corona Cero, Brewdog Punk AF, Stella Artois Alcohol Free, Erdinger Isotonic, Thatchers zero, Koppaberg Alcohol Free, and Gordons 0.0 pink gin, each priced at £1.69. Beck’s Blue and Sanpellegrino Aranciata Rossa are available for 99p each. Additionally, Wetherspoon is offering discounts on food items like an 11-inch Margherita pizza or a chicken burger with chips for £4.99 with a soft drink or £6.52 with an alcoholic beverage.

For £4.99 with a soft drink or £6.52 with an alcoholic drink, customers can choose from six jacket potatoes with fillings like tuna mayo, coleslaw, chilli bean non-carne, cheese, baked beans, or roasted vegetables. Extra fillings or a side salad can be added for 99p. There are also new gourmet jacket potatoes priced at £6.49 with a soft drink and £8.02 with an alcoholic drink, including loaded spud, Mexican spud, and smoky potato options.

Wetherspoon’s founder and chairman Tim Martin expressed that the January Sale, mirroring retail sales, caters to a wide range of tastes with an extensive selection of low and non-alcoholic drinks. The sale is set to run in 600 pubs from January 2, extending to January 15, except in Scotland where it starts on January 3. Prices may vary at Wetherspoon’s other 200 venues.
