“Lockdown at Queen’s Park after Alleged Christmas Eve Rape”

Authorities have implemented a lockdown at a bustling park following an alleged rape incident in the early hours of Christmas Eve.

The reported occurrence occurred between 12:30 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 24, within the Queen’s Park vicinity in the southside of Glasgow.

Witnesses observed a significant police presence and a large cordon set up at the popular park as part of the investigative process. Local reports from Glasgow Live confirm that Police Scotland is actively looking into a serious sexual assault case.

A spokesperson stated, “We are currently probing a reported serious sexual assault within the Queen’s Park area of Glasgow, believed to have occurred between 12:30 a.m. and 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 24, 2025. Investigations are ongoing to establish the complete circumstances, and a police presence remains in the region.”

An eyewitness earlier mentioned, “A substantial section has been cordoned off, and there is a notable police deployment in the Orchard vicinity, with multiple police vans stationed at the park entrance.”
