Donald Trump is forming a coalition of nefarious individuals to weaken the United Nations, with assistance from Tony Blair.
Trump’s decision to create this group appears to stem from two key incidents. Firstly, in 2009, the Nobel committee awarded the peace prize to Barack Obama, whom Trump strongly dislikes. This event fueled Trump’s desire to pursue a Nobel Prize of his own by involving himself in resolving conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza.
Initially focused on peace efforts in Gaza, the Board of Peace expanded its objectives following a mishap at the United Nations involving Trump’s speech disruptions. Subsequently, Trump seemingly developed a plan to replace the UN entirely, possibly positioning himself as its leader.
Recently, Trump unveiled the Board of Peace’s lineup, which boasts a “global” agenda under his lifelong chairmanship. Meanwhile, Tony Blair’s involvement in the group, though less clear, likely relates to his connections with Jared Kushner and his interest in Middle East conflict resolution.
Despite some skepticism, Blair remains an active participant in the initiative, even after the UK’s reluctance to join alongside Russia. The launch event in Davos saw Blair prominently seated on the executive board.
During the unveiling ceremony, Trump introduced the Supervillains comprising his “Evil UN,” including Viktor Orban and Javier Milei. Representatives from various countries attended, with only a few considered “free” by Freedom House, while the majority face significant political and civil liberties constraints.
Israel’s agreement to join the group was noted, although Benjamin Netanyahu’s absence at the ceremony was attributed to potential arrest risks in Europe for alleged war crimes.
Trump’s apparent desire for perpetual leadership within this coalition hints at a reluctance to relinquish his presidency and a potential aspiration for global supremacy akin to a childhood fantasy.
